H.H. Jigme Phuntsok

Jigme Phuntsok ( 1933–2004) was the most influential contemporary master of Nyingma tradition. At the age of five, Jigme Phuntsok was recognized as the reincarnation of Terton Sogyal, guru to the 13th Dalai Lama. He founded Larung Five Sciences Buddhist College at a desolated valley in Sertar, which later on became the largest Buddhist Institute in the world.
