Imam Abdul Kader is an Australian and currently is the Muslim Chaplain in the Garden City Mosque Toowoomba. He graduated from Al-Azhar University—Faculty of Islamic Theology in Egypt, with a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in Exegesis (Tafseer) of the glorious Qur’an. He also holds a Master in Islamic Studies from the Loughborough University in United Kingdom. a keen Aged-Care Worker.

His past work experiences included:

§  The Imam at Portsmouth Jami Mosque & Islamic Centre, in Southsea, Portsmouth, UK.

§  Lecturer in the Department of Da’wah & Islamic Studies at the International Islamic University Chittagong.

§  Religious Counselor at the Immigration Detention Centers in Northern Territory, Australia.

§  The Imam at the Islamic Society of Darwin, in Northern Territory, Australia.

Imam Abdul Kader is also currently the Vice-Chair, in the Toowoomba Interfaith Working Group.
